Peer-to-peer catalog marketplace

Every song deserves
a fair ending.

Coda Exchange is where music catalogs change hands. Sell your compositions, your masters, or both — released or never released — to buyers whose ownership and intent are verified before a dollar moves.

We don't make money until you do.

The premise

Most music never finds its audience. That doesn't mean it has no value — only that it never met the person who could carry it further. Coda exists to make that handover honest, documented, and dignified.

How it works

Structure first, then the market.

  1. 01

    Answer, don't fill in forms

A guided sequence walks you through rights scope, extent, transfer type and any strings attached — and writes the term sheet for you.

  2. 02

    Ownership gets checked

PRO membership (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, SOCAN and others) plus distributor and ISRC registration are verified before a deal moves.

  3. 03

    Close on your own terms

Permanent sale, time-limited license, or a straight catalog swap. Export the summary and hand it to your own counsel.

What it costs

Aligned, on purpose.

$250Per side

Flat, per side, at deal agreement

Non-refundable. It pays for PRO and distributor verification, escrow setup and the private deal room — the work that happens whether or not you sign.

5%On closing

Of deal value, only on closing

Split evenly: 2.5% from the buyer, 2.5% from the seller. If the deal never closes, this is never charged. That's the whole promise — we don't make money until you do.
